A New Record

Yesterday, the "world ends on September 10th" beat out "Debbie's boob job" for the most unique visitors in one day by a score of 106 to 98, marking the first time since having this blog that we hit triple digits.

Of course, we barely broke 10 visitors for today....

Hey, I was here; came in from Bloglines just so you'd have the count! My problem is the Google Image engine -- I doubt that more than one or two of those image seekers ever returns, though they do push the count up!

The vast majority of visitors here are "drive by's" that hit some random page and never come back (WebStats tracks new vs. return visitors for me). But this is the first time I've had so many from Google search. Typically, most are through trackbacks to other web sites I link to.

Ah well; fleeting fame. Hit counts for the last three days are 106, 39, and 11, with 3 so far today. But I get a second chance when the LHC actually preforms its first actual proton collisions in late October and the world ends. Again.
