One of the reasons I rip movies I own to my hard drives is so I don't have to sit through all the stupid anti-piracy ads and FBI warnings. My ripping software very neatly removes all of that and just plays the movie.
[Note added: F.A.C.T. is the British equivalent of the MPAA. The guy's blog is pretty good stuff as well.]
