I wonder if that was one complete Rube Goldberg machine, or if it was segmented and/or had manually triggered components. If it was one complete machine, I wonder how many takes it took. :-) Very cool in any case!
According to the article on Wired, it was a complete Rube Goldberg and the video is a single uncut take. I'd assume from the paint spatter on the band's coveralls that they had a least a couple takes.
